World Book Day – Thursday 7th March 2019
This year, for World Book Day, children throughout the school will be creating a ‘book in a jar’. This idea is simple but effective and is a great way to inspire our pupils to be creative and share their love of reading. The jars will be created in school but small items can be brought in from home. Before 7th March please: decide which book to use; find pictures, models and small things which represent the book; put a label with your child’s name and class on the jar and bring in to school by 7th March. It would also be useful to bring in a copy of the book, as inspiration.
